Just a couple comments from our annual "Bring Your Kids to Boot Camp Day" This year we had over 10 children at our 5:30am class! It was a blast sharing with our kids the importance of exercise!

Jazmyn told me to report back to you that her arms were a little sore but her legs were actually sorer. She had a great time, and hopes that you will do this again. (and the boys will come too next time.) Selina

Before I started boot camp I thought I was getting the right amount of exercise and eating right but I still was feeling sluggish all the time. I had no energy and it seemed like I was slowly gaining weight every time I turned around. Between feeling bad all the time and being uncomfortable I knew I had to do some sort of change in my lifestyle. I just couldn't figure out how to get the proper exercise and nutrition into my schedule with being constantly on the go of work, kids, activities, and the day to day maintenance. I had heard of boot camp but I thought: (1) I could not ever get up that early and (2) I had better get into better shape before I considered joining a BOOT CAMP!!

Since I have joined BFit4Life Boot Camp, May of 2009, I have: had more energy, gone down a clothing size, and felt stronger not only physically but in mind and spirit. I look forward to continue to gain strength, fat loss, and eventually definition. Dana has been an awesome trainer and motivator. She is a good example of how every trainer should be, I have learned a lot from her about fitness, nutrition, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The women at boot camp have all been a fabulous group to work out with!! Investing the time, energy, and money has been priceless! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! THANK YOU DANA!!!

I found Dana's Bootcamp when I was in a really stressful time in my life. Family illness and this economy had my blood pressure up to 150/100 at its highest. I had been exercising, but it was hit or miss. Dana's Bootcamp completely changed my life, my thinking, and my body. My stressors are still there, but my blood pressure is a healthy 111/68, I lost 5% of my body weight, and I am in the best shape of my life. I told my husband, if given the choice between therapy and bootcamp, I'd take my bootcamp ladies any day! Dana and each woman there is the best cheerleader, confidant and support system money can't buy!

I just love Dana's bootcamp! It gets me outdoors and it is so much fun exercising with other ladies. I am 62 years old and wasn't sure if it was the right program for me. But, Dana makes sure all my moves are safe and she is right there coaching me the whole time. She is very knowledgable in showing me the currect way to perform the exercises without putting stress on my knees or back. Thank you Dana for making exercising a positive and enjoyable experience.

I have been working out with Dana Ward's Be Fit 4 Life Boot-camp for about 2 months. Since that time I have lost about 10 inches and ten pounds. The workouts are fun, packed with intensity and achieve incredible results. I also appreciate the fabulous feedback she gives her individual clients as well as the information she consistently dispenses regarding eating clean and boosting fitness goals.. As a survivor of a life-threatening illness and a mother of three including a baby, I have found Dana's program to be safe, practical and adaptable to any busy schedule. Additionally she approaches fitness from the aspect of a lifelong yet, doable commitment where the whole person is considered.

I have always been active and athletic; doing various exercises such as jogging, weight training and tae kwon do. I was looking for an amped up workout and began boot camp for the month of March. I had always thought I pushed myself during exercise, but came to realize after the very first session that I am capable of so much more! I was amazed at how simple the exercises are, but oh so very effective! My husband has commented (more than once!) on how he can see the difference in my arms, waist and abs. And that was after only six sessions! I look forward to continuing to improve my health and body through the boot camp workouts. Thanks Dana! Jan 5:30pm Camper-Lost 3 10/16” after 6 sessions.

Just thought I would pass on a compliment. My hubby said. he can really tell that boot camp is working for me. I can really notice now too as some of my pants are finally fitting. I always go up and down about 6-7 pounds and it is all in one area, I think I have finally shed that first layer of puffiness. Thanks for everything I love boot camp and hope to do it forever. You are a great instructor and motivator!

Confessions of an anti- exerciser!

I really don’t love working out. Never have, have always found it to be one of those things that has to be done. I never really liked getting up early in the morning either. So a boot camp at 5:30 am sounded more like --- well let’s just say not appealing.

But last November I really wanted to get into shape, so I signed up anyways. You know, we gotta do what we gotta do! Here it is January and I am once again signing up for the month of February boot camp. Who would have thought it?

I really love it. It has been fun exercise, and I have loved being done with my work out by 6:30 am! I finally feel I have been able to not only drop a few pounds, but firm up and really see a difference in my stamina. (I can now do real pushups!) I love the personal training part of it (so I know what I am doing is not harmful) and the accountability –that helps me push myself. Also I have some knee problems, and I feel Dana has really helped me baby my knee’s (by giving different options in the exercises.) Not sure why, but my knees have not been bothering me as much anymore. (I think I have built up the muscles above my knees, which has helped.) All and all I would highly recommend BFit4Life to anyone who loves or hates exercising!

BFit4Life boot camp has changed my life! I have been working out faithfully for about 15 years. Never changing my routine much and not seeing results. Recently, I was taken off steroids to regulate a condition I have. I knew I had to take control of my weight situation. I found Dana, tried it out and love it. I feel I have gotten my drive back and have seen instant results on the scale, waistline and spirit! I am also so excited to go 3 days a week with wonderful women achieving there goals.

I'm 55 and never thought I'd be out there 3 times a week for a month, but have done so because of the fun, friendship, and professionalism of Dana. I'm supported even though I can't physically do everything to the ability of a younger camper. I really appreciate the fact that Dana finds ways for me to get the most out of an excercise with an alternative form. I look forward to my M,W,F mornings.

I wanted to tell you how glad I am to be a part of your boot camp team. I remember when I saw you at the park and you had just finished up boot camp one day while I was on my morning walk! Who would have thought I would be one of those girls addicted and love it every time I come! I have lost inches in all parts of my body and have enough endurance to run without stopping. Thank you so much for making it fun to work out! I tell everyone how awesome it is. Keep up the great work!

"I have been in Dana's boot camp from the beginning and 5 months later I'm still going strong. I may hate my alarm clock when it's going off at 5 am, but nothing is better than starting your day with awesome strength training and cardio. I am amazed at how I continue to be challenged by the wide > range of exercises. I'm still finding muscles I never knew I had! I started the class to lose weight and now that has just become a side benefit, rather than the focus. I hare renovated my entire lifestyle and I am a happier healthier person because of it. I used to think I didn't have time for treating myself right, but now I have learned that if I make the time, I am better at everything I do, because I'm happier with myself. Dana's Boot Camp is awesome!!!

I’ve tried working out in the gym for years but I just can’t stick with it. However, Dana makes it easy to work out because of her enthusiasm and encouragement. The sessions fly by because they’re fun but you still feel every muscle you’ve worked, and believe me, you work every muscle! Dana sends nutritional advice on a weekly basis and is on a personal level with each and every person. She is your friend as well as your coach. If you follow her advice, there’s no way you could fail. Dana is a great motivator and I look forward to working out because of her!
