Power Yoga
For the Power Program, one can expect an assortment of challenging standing asana sequences, as well as challenging arm balances. The entire body is usually worked, working towards more advanced poses in the middle of the class when the body is open and warm. Inversions will also be explored. Going upside down is very good for the body as it stimulates the body to replenish. Confidence is gained from inversions. The benefits of the practice and the willingness to show up and let go J are profound in our daily lives away from the mat, where the real practice of Yoga takes place. Come to class ready to have fun, let go of the stress in your lives, and join in a presence that brings healing to the mind and body.

Flow Yoga

Ying Yang
Ying Yang Yoga stretches the connective tissues and joints rather than conditioning the muscles, promoting flexibility in areas perceived as nonmalleable, especially the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This program is characterized by posses held for several minutes each, as well as a series of poses you will flow through. We have designed this class to balance and compliment all aspects of yoga and your life. Come enjoy comfortable meditation with us during Ying Yang!

Fitness Yoga
Body weight strength training through core exercises. Zero in on certain parts of the body for a profound, immediate effect on balancing the mind and body. This program is the perfect compliment to your weekly strength training and cardio conditioning routine!

Yoga Instructor Profile: Carolyn Reitz

Hi, my name is Carolyn Reitz and I'm a Philadelphia native. I am so excited to be teaching yoga at The Studios in Ocotillo. Yoga has been my passion since 1990. I was hooked after my first class! I have learned so many profound lessons, the greatest being to follow the inner teacher that lies within each of our hearts.

My classes focus on increasing body awareness through flowing movement and breath as well as awakening the joy and passion that resides in each of us. I have completed my 200 level certification and I'm currently enrolled in a master's level program.

Yoga Instructor Profile: Gabe

Yoga, did it find me or did I find it, I will say we met sometime around 2004, in the form of DVD. In the first year it was an occasional rendezvous with the same DVD. I came in contact with a few more DVD’s, practice was more faithful.

In late 2006 I was introduced to a Yoga class in public, a male instructor, who later became inspiration for myself to enroll in Teacher Training some two years later. I went to that class faithfully for about a year, twice a week. The changes were coming on physically, and most surprising, a presence experienced, and recognized. I enrolled in Teacher Training, May 2008, swore I would never teach, and 6 months later I was teaching, it was just the way it was supposed to happen, no resistance from myself lead to this new discovery of an offering I gladly share.

Currently enrolled in 300 hour Teacher Training, I look forward to new discoveries each weekend we meet. Thank you to all those that made this possible and to those who continue to inspire….Namaste, Gabe

Yoga Instructor Profile: Samantha Rufle

Samantha Rufle discovering yoga through going to the gym and doing videos and found herself getting deeper into yoga following an injury and joined the mind/ body studio tucked away in the back of her local gym. After a few years Samantha was wanting to go even deeper in her yoga practice so she began attending classes at Inner Vision Yoga and eventually enrolled in the 500 hour Master Level Teacher Training Program.

Samantha has home schooled her two children for over ten years and now that her children are ready to move on to regular school and college, Samantha is excited to pursue her passions teaching yoga and writing.
