I have always struggled with my weight, body image and relationship with food. I have experienced nearly every extreme in exercise and diet,
and never with any sustained success. Years of yo-yo dieting, going on and off exercise programs basically wrecked my already slow metabolism.
After 12 years, I was still carrying “baby fat” from my two pregnancies, and quite frankly very tired of it. I just didn’t know how to fix it.
Then I found Bfit4Life Boot Camp, and the decision to join has changed my life. The first few months were very hard. It felt next to impossible
to adjust to waking up at 5:00 am, and push myself to complete all of the exercises. As I started noticing physical changes taking place, those
acts became easier, as my mental blocks came down.
About 8 months in, I knew I had gained strength and endurance, yet the scale continued to measure the same. It became clear that it was time to
introduce a healthier eating lifestyle. I cut out alcohol, most sugars, and switched to eating five small meals a day. Within a month, I had shed
18 pounds and that was just the incentive I needed to keep going. I am happy to say that I am now BELOW my original goal weight and 100% happy with
what I see when I look in the mirror. I have definition (but not too much) and I feel wonderful!
Physically, I feel better than I ever have. My eyes are brighter, skin clearer, and my energy is way up. I no longer feel sluggish and tired all
the time. Mentally, I have a better outlook in life and know that there’s nothing I cannot achieve if I set my mind to it.
As a result of the positive impact this class has made on my life, I have decided to obtain my Personal Trainer Certification. I am now in process
of studying for the exam, and am very excited to be able to put these new skills into action! I want to be able to help people the way that Dana
has helped me. It is my hope to be teaching a boot camp class soon!
Some measureable stats:
Weight lost: 30 pounds
Inches Lost: 27.75” total body, 9.25” in my waist alone.
BMI: WAS: 27.45 “overweight”
IS NOW: 22.14 “Average”
Bfit4Life Boot camp has forever altered my mind, body, and spirit. I am so grateful to Dana and, of course, my support system of close
friends and family.
If you have been searching for that way to become healthy again, and cannot seem to find it, I strongly suggest giving this boot camp a try.
Just remember….. you get out of it, what you put into it. The encouragement and support that the trainers and classmates have to offer is
invaluable in pushing you to maintain the goals you have set for yourself. I’ve been working out (off and on) for about 15 years now and
this has been the ONLY program that has worked for me!
Happy First Anniversary Bfit4Life Boot Camp!
