4 Reasons to focus on YOUR BREATH at CAMP!
1. Be sure you are always focusing on
breathing out during exertion, or the hard part of your exercise, and breathing
in during relaxation phases of your exercise. This is very important to help keep a steady
blood pressure. You will also notice a
greater performance when applying this principle during your workout.
2. Breathing also is a must when you
are working on isometric exercises like a plank for example. Breathing integrated into core exercises is essential
to relax the diagram and the accessory muscles of the chest wall.
3. Breathing also needs to be
integrated into dynamic exercises in order to assist in movement efficiency and
proper movement patterns. A good
example to apply this to is when training with the RIP Trainer at our Xtreme
location.
4. Breathing also needs to be
incorporated into stretching and self massage.
This will help relax the surrounding muscles and fascia. Next time we offer our FREE Pilates class
coached by Monique, really focus on your breathing. Pilates is all about breathing correctly to
enhance performance and aim for a greater ROM.
We are on week 4 with our Fitness Assessments! Keep up the Great Work Gang!
Assessments have been posted on our Facebook Page!
If you have not made it to our Xtreme Location yet, your missing out on some great training!
